• Faculty: The health and sport sciences faculty
consists of both full-time educators and professionals,
such as athletic trainers, coaches and athletic

presenting workshops, conferences, convention
programs and clinics throughout the country. In addition, all undergraduate students must
demonstrate competency in 12 General Education goals: reading and writing skills; speaking and listening skills;
arts; religion; humanities; global issues; quantitative reasoning; natural sciences; lifetime health; social sciences;
cultural diversity; and ethical thought. Education majors complete a variety of
field experiences and professional practicums. This combination provides for
